Out of Character: No problem but I was thinking they might just loan us the horses because of the urgency rather than make us pay for them but that's behind us now let's get to the south as quickly as we can and see what these hunters have to say.
In Character: "Hello travelers where did you get that big animal from?"
Merlin says this in a cheerful way assuming that they are from the village but he's still guarded.
John felt better about what happened, he was thinking of an idea about the horses that the group wanted to buy.
He turns to the group and he says:
"Well, I was thinking, how much gold does everybody have? I only have six gold pieces, I will need more gold, maybe I could get some gold in the south since we are going there".
Merlin looks at John,
"It's a bit late to think about that, and I doubt any of us have enough gold to buy a stray dog so a horse is out of the question".
Merlin looks at John strangely,
"No time for dogs, cats or birds, we are already on our way to the south."
Out of Character: Not sure if you're following but if you read the main scenario JB put it says we are at the southern edge of the village in a forest not like there is a market around for you to go buy stuff.
Merlin is surprised that they would tyhink that some random caravan is our friends,
"Not our friends but we are looking for them. How many were there and how many wagons or horses?"
Lady Godiva is keen about the hunters and what they saw. Could this possibly be the dark cleric she wonders. Can we be so lucky to find him just like that she thinks. She listens but says nothing.
Specific Action: Lady Godiva will go closer to their horses to try and determine if these hunters are all they appear to be and not possibly bandits trying to send us on a ride.
