Thus saith AngloSaxon Noblewoman... Lady Godiva agrees with Neihao... he should have the skill to sneak up and see what's going on without being seen. She then tries to determine the worst case scenario and says,

Out of Character:: If someone could give me some suggestions on what to do I would be grateful. At this point I only see running away back to the group as an answer. I'm a little frustrated that there is absolutely no cover. I realize we are in a desert but then I wonder how is it we have gotten this close without being seen. I wish I was sitting at a tabletop because I would have said, "Oh, okay Neihao will drop into a fetal position covering himself with his cloak, making himself appear as a dune of sand." Which probably would have been followed by, "Your cloak is bright neon pink in color and is of little use."
Cleric Dark - Camp
Thus saith Sword specialist... Out of Character: Too funny but I don't think its because you had no cover its because you made a sound with your d20 roll and just like let them know you were there. They have light and horses I doubt you can be like a sand dune unless you're that terminator girl. 
Best you can do is probably surprise attack the one on the horse and take it from him then ride back to us.
In Character: Merlin looks at the others,
"Is it me or there seems to be a lot of light movement from the camp?'

"These things take time, he can't just rush up and introduce himself you know."
Out of Character: That's a deep situation but Play's plan sounds reasonable if you can't make a run for it yelling so we can meet you half way.
