Play by post: Dante will go to the village elders and report everything that happened. He wants to specifically ask about how to overcome the cleric's drain ability.
Tonatha: Take 2 gold from Felipe. Go to the market and buy two sets of waterskins. Fill them with water. Head to the Elders' place if Thad doesn't see the rest of the party has left there already.
Felipe: (John) Go to the elder's place for the meeting. (He pays the tavern bill for himself and Cagliostro, 2 gold, and borrows other 2 golds to Thad)
Sgtlee: (Aose) Visit local priest/cleric asking for a blessing to protect us against the dark cleric, possibly some holy water, and any advice on how to fight his dark powers. Then, he will join the others and meet the elders
Lady Godiva and Cagliostro join the meeting as well
FairMaiden: Lady Godiva asks: "Do you have someone in the east city that can show us around or just keep us until we figure out the dark cleric's weakness?".
Play by post: Dante asks the elders what more they can tell about the "Mysteries" the dark cleric might be into.
Sgtlee: Aose will ask the elders, "Where did the Dark Cleric come from? No one starts with that much power, everyone must start and be trained somewhere. What do we know of his rise?".
All the others will just listen.
Sgtlee: Aose asks the Elders if they have a collection of the histories of the village and the Dark Cleric himself. Even if it is before he became twisted it could give us some insight into who he is and how to best deal with him. Ask the Elders if they have the ability to bless weapons or counter the draining effect of the Dark Cleric.
And the last question which could help us with the Dark Cleric...Why did he turn from you and become the Dark Cleric?
This is the only action. The rest will wait for the answer, ready to leave the meeting. I think the group will rejoice at the reintroduction of the Forum points-to-Gold system. Three out of six members already voted for it in a positive way.
The party will visit the market to get ready for the long trip and the dangers ahead.
Bruconero: Cagliostro finally makes up his mind. He got 30 golds and will use part of it to buy a Longbow (10g), an arrow holder with strap (2g), 12 Arrows (1g), 4 Dry Rations (4g), 2 Healing Herbs (2g) And another set of Waterskins (1g). Total: 20 gold, with still 10 gold in his pocket. He will also try to barter his sling for whatever he can get for it (gold or goods).
Cagliostro is a beverage maker: which kind of tools I need to practice this activity? Is there something like a portable set and how much would it cost?
Is the wine available at the market? How much would it cost? If the market doesn't sell any, he will inquire with the innkeeper.
Tonatha: Thad will spend 2 gold to buy 2 Daily Rations
Sgtlee: Aose buys the following at the market.
Bow, Long (1) 10
Arrows (24 ) 2
Leather Boots (AC 1) 5
Helmet (AC 1) 20
Shield, Small (AC 1) 30
Leather Back Pack 13
Knife, Fork, Cup Plate 1
Dry Rations, 1 Day (4) 4
Arrow holder w strap 1
Total: 76 gold
Fair Maiden: Lady Godiva will go to the tavern, find out the cost for a bottle of fine wine and purchase one.
Play by Post: Dante goes to check on the bodies of Tanar and Neihao to see what condition they're in and what equipment has been saved with them. He then heads to the market to buy:
1 Lantern
1 Flint
1 Ration
Felipe: Follows the party by now since feels already satisfied with his current equipment
Felipe: John will buy a bottle of fine wine in the tavern
PlayByPost: Dante looks for the local mortician and finds out what it takes to bury Neihao and Tanar.
FairMaiden: Now that Lady Godiva has her bottle of fine wine she wishes to head to Horde but the matter of the burial is also important so she makes an effort as well to find out how it can be done as quickly as possible.
Tonatha: Thad will take the backpack from the corpses, nobody objected about this. Assist in the burial or cremation of Tanar and Nehaio.
Bruconero: Cagliostro will inquire at the market about buying a small mortar&pestle, a pot of 1 liter capacity and a belt pouch. He will buy for any reasonable price (if the gold is not enough I will just trade more FP to gold), so no need to wait for my confirmation first.
He'll take the dagger from the corpses since nobody else wants it. The party asked me to keep those 17 gold and use it for general expenses (if allowed, I'll just add them to my inventory but keeping it separated from my personal coins).
I got no actions from Sgtlee. If the price for burying the two dead adventurers is within the 17 party common gold we pay right away and head to Horde's place so maybe it can become a single game update. If not, we will have to decide who pays for the fee.
PlaybyPost: Dante asks the undertaker what he means by ghosts. He also asks him if he knows anything about the dark cleric.
FairMaiden: Lady Godiva asks the undertaker how long it will take to dig the graves and when she should return to be part of the ceremony because she does not trust him.
The party chose the proper burial. The price, 30 gold, will be paid in this way: John puts 10 gold, Lady Godiva other 10 gold and the final 10 gold will be taken from the party gold that I'm carrying.
After this, we go visit Horde.
Sgtlee: Aose will go with group to see Horde. Ask about if the dark priest still has a house or family in the village.
FairMaiden: Lady Godiva will explain to Horde that the Elders referred us to him and that we have questions. Then show him the wine as an incentive.
Felipe: John will show Horde the fine wine as a incentive to help out
Dante and Cagliostro will just sit and listen in this first round.
PlaybyPost: Dante goes outside and awaits the group now that he has heard enough.
Felipe: John just listens for now until it is a right time to speak.
FairMaiden: Lady Godiva speaks loudly to keep Horde up asking if he has any specifics, something they can use to bring the dark cleric down.
Sgtlee: Aose tries to use Hordes drunken state to his advantage. My friend if you were to come with us how would we go about bringing down this cleric. We know he can sap your strenght just from being by him. He has been cornered in a room and beaten three men by himself. He does bleed, but he has not fallen. How would you beat him. (This was an "In Character" post but from the tone I guessed he intended it as his action).
Bruconero: Before the wine transforms Horde's mumblings into deep snoring, Cagliostro checks if the drink loosened his tongue a bit. In a confidential tone, like somebody would use with a new friend with who he felt an instant connection and chemistry, the fortune teller will ask if Horde could hint him to somebody adept in the magical arts living in the area. He'll also ask how can the seasoned adventurer collect all these informations just staying in his hut and drinking: does he buy informations as well? If yes, in which kind of stories he is interested?
