Party ACTIONS - The Dark Cleric - Page 6

Please re-post this with just the actions. Since you are taking this over you may want to read a Thread I have here about Posting Party Order. Basically, I am not interested in the thoughts and feelings of characters just what they specifically do by way of action, if they are not doing anything significant then only post the actions of characters who are in the move. Character reactions and feelings to happenings in the World of Medieval are for the Camp thread only.

Oliron's character has already paid for the rooms and meal (see Post above yours), is Kntoran's character paying for someone else or extra nights?

I don't do "slides...", what's the fun in that? I need to know who paid for the debt to the drunk man and who paid the gold piece short. Thanks.

Cleric Dark - ACTIONS Party

ThomasLee's actions: Find the tavern owner and make a deal to perform in exchange for a meal and drink.
Fairmadian's actions: Watches Jonathon after he walks into tavern
Everyone else is restless and wants to continue

I have edited my last post reminding everyone someone needs to pay a drunk 2 gold pieces. I would have Jonathon pay if it wasn't for the fact Jonathon wasn't already making a deal because he is short of funds. As soon as someone posts on the subject I will update.

Party ACTIONS - The Dark Cleric RPG PBP Medieval World

Thomaslee's actions: Jonathon explains that he is a musician and that he plays a violin. He shows the tavern owner the instrument and plays a bit to give the man an idea on what it can do. He explains that the instrument can actually create music good for dancing. As an aside he also tells the tavern owner he is a storyteller. Jonathon tells the tavern owner that he will wait to eat and drink until after he performs.

Other actions: The group waves over the tavern owner/barkeep so they can helpfully get information of the East City, wise men in the city, as well as groups that oppose the Dark Cleric. The extra money from before had also been for this purpose.

This seemed to have been lost in conversation and the long wait, the group had wanted to ask the tavern owner/barkeep for information such as about the East city as well as any wise men they could talk too. Also, it was decided that the group needs to find information on a possible opposing faction to that of the dark cleric and join them/help them. This has all been rp, though I had to go back a little to gather it.
There has been a bit of confusion on what to do because of the wait but hopefully this will be fixed up after a couple posts.

More questions for the tavern owner
Fairmaiden: "Thank you for answering us and your food is so good. Tell us, do you know how to get access to the Inn in the center of the city? They do not have a liking for women folk."
As a group this question is asked: "Is there by chance someone we might find and talk to that could lead us to learning more about the Dark Cleric, even criminal sources?"
(Seems curretly only Fairmaiden, Play by Post, and KNtoran are posting. Hopefully more come around. I also have yet to find one to pay that extra 2 gp)

My actions: Jonathon go a 5 on the community roll. At first I thought that was bad, but I was told lower was better for these kind of things. I have started to rp Jonathon's performance, telling everyone that the tavern owner was kind enough to let Jonathon perform, but I don't plan on finishing it until after the next update

Also, I have work again tonight, which is why I am posting now.

Cleric Dark - ACTIONS Party

Everyone is ready to move on and find Horde.
Jonathon finishes his performance. With the offer of a permanant job Jonathon politely declines, explaining he is a wanderer and cannot stay in one place for long. Though he did say that when he is in town he will give performances. Lady Godiva calls Jonathon over and he asks the tavern owner to bring his meal and drink to the group's table. After explaining what his performance was about as Lady Godiva wondered what that was about she ask what Jonathon knows of the East CIty.
ThomasLee's Action: Rolled an Mind test to (I am guessing again d20 community dice, if so I got the number 15. Also, I am sorry if I rolled in the community dice area when I should not. I was trying to save time. If I messed up we can ignore my roll.) see if Jonathon knows anything the group does not on the East City.
Jonathon tells the group that he is a wizard though to be exact an illusionist. With a bit disbelief at first the group offers that Jonathon join them.

Noah pays the drunk the 2 gold so he shuts up.

Party ACTIONS - The Dark Cleric

When they reach the door to the hut and the short man answered and asked what they wanted Jonathon bowed and said, "Hello my good man, we are here for information. We have been told that no one knows more then you and hoped you could be of service to us." When Jonathon said the word 'us' he waved his hand in the direction of the rest of the group.
Noah steps forward and addresses Horde. "I wish to know anything you can tell us about the dark cleric and the East city. We went there with too little information and now we are seeking those who can tell us more."

Everyone else stayed quite though Lancelot (Play by Post) is considering hiring Horde. Is Horde one of the NPC's that can be hired by the party?

"We have been hired by the Elders to found out what we can and figure out a way to combat the Dark Celric's control and power. To do this though we need more information on both him and the East City," Jonathon explained, stepping aside so the man can see everyone else.
Thinking for a second he adds, "Well I should say they were hired, I just felt I could help."

Lancelot sees Horde's reaction and adds, "Horde, we know you are a veteran and the Tavern keeper recommend you. We wish to bring the Dark Cleric to justice."

Lady Godiva continue to say nothing but does study her surroundings to see if she can figuring anything out about Horde.

Neihao also says nothing as there is no need.

Lancelot bows his head a bit in respect and everyone walks into Horde's house and sit down.
Noah looks at Horde and asked him if he would be so kind as to tell them what is really going on in the area. He will give Horde a few gold for his trouble and hope that he can give us more information than the elders could give.
Jonathon added to what Noah asked with more detailed questions, "Do you know the source of the Dark Cleric's power, or even an idea on what it may be. Is it real, or is his powers simply fear and manipulation. Also, what can you tell us about the East city, particularly when it comes to the dangers we might face."
