Did you know that 1 in 88 military families where someone is serving in active duty also has a child with Autism? I recently learned that from a publicity ad where they said it was like managing two battles - one in the military and one at home.

The thing is, knowing the number of cases of children being diagnosed with autism (in the US increasing dramatically) I am not surprised. Just like the military there are many people with challenging jobs across the world who have autistic children.
