Criminals wait for victims, beat them, eat their dinner in front of them and then kidnap their daughter! This is what this country has come to. Now the kidnappers are demanding $50,000 for the return of their daughter.

I am extremely concerned about this child. I just cannot even imagine the pain the family must be going through. I hope they release her as soon as possible, safe and sound.

TV6 Just reported that the police have found Parvati Maharaj alive but did not mention if she was hurt. She was found in some bushes in Blanchisseuse, Arima. Five men have been arrested in connection with this awful incident.

I was so glad to read she was released. Congratulations to the Police and those members of the public that teamed up with the authorities to find Parvati. I am also glad that finally arrests have been made after such horrible ordeal.

Two women were involved with this, both women and men are teaming up to do the most hurtful crimes. No longer can you feel 'safe' because you feel a woman will not commit horrible crimes. TV6 News did mention she seemed to be unharmed. Also the stolen car was found in a hospital parking lot? Strange happenings in this case.

According to the Express, an older brother of Parvati said:

international QUOTE
"She did not say much to us but only wanted to see her two brothers. We went to the Arima Hospital where we saw her, and she embraced us because she was happy to see us once again. Nobody interfered with her, and we were very grateful that did not happen, but they put her through hell.

"She's still a bit shaken, and she says that she will not allow that to deter her from writing her exams. She's going full speed ahead with it" Source 5

I think the work done by the police should be commended. Great job!
