Chris Sirju, who works in his family's contracting business, was snatched outside a friend's house at Pond Street, La Romaine, around 9.30 p.m.
The men drove Sirju's black Nissan Frontier van to Beach Avenue, La Romaine.
"They slowed down and the man who was driving the van was trying to put on a pair of gloves. But he was struggling and he asked his friend to hold the gun. While they were doing that, Chris said he started praying, open the door lock and jumped out. He started running in the opposite direction. He jumped into some bushes and hide".
