I took my family to see this movie last night and once again, Pixar has made a masterpiece. The movie was very funny and had a great story. Of course the animation was superb as always. Pixar animations has made movies such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo and A Bug's Life. It doesn't matter if you're single, married with no kids, or you have a family; this is a movie for everyone.
The Incredibles (Hover)
Malexander, you and I did the same thing last night! Small world, huh? I took my grandson to see it last night. I thought it was a pretty good movie. It didn't hold his interest quite the same way as Shrek or Finding Nemo, but he did enjoy it. At times, he actually shouted out loud with excitement. Then of course, all night after, he was a superhero!
My daughter and I went to see this last Monday -- what a great show! The only disappointment was, I was waiting for the scene that they showed for the movie "trailer" to be in the movie itself, and it never was. Oh, man, that was so great! But still a great show
FarSeer, were you talking about the scene where he's putting his new suit on and can't get the belt on. Then his wife yells out to come to dinner and he say's "Maybe just a salad!". That scene? I was waiting for it too, we ended up waiting through all the credits and there was nothing. Very disappointing.
That's the one! And his belt buckle goes flying off and ricochets around the room, kills the lamp, etc. Oh, man, that made me laugh so hard. I've used every single move he did to get into tight jeans in my younger days Ha! What a great scene. I hope they have it on the DVD when it's released.

I saw it last night. I got a bit dissapointed when I realized it was less of a comedy than I thought, and more action-packed. But I still liked it very much, they managed to insert comedy into all the fighting and escaping etc. I liked the part where the boy (I forgot what his name was) had a race at the end, and kept constantly speeding up and slowing down, aiming for second place . I didn't like, though, the ending scene, where another evil guy suddenly appeared. It seemed really random and left the impression that there will be a sequal.

I wasn't talking about that scene. I meant the very end, where an unknown being suddenly appears, threatening the land. Then the incredibles show up, ready to g=fight, and the movie ends.
