How come they edited Elder Cook's talk? (written AND the video?) I was interested in reading or seeing the part in which he said:
QUOTE From our earliest history both men and women pray, perform the music, give the sermons, and sing in the choir, even in sacrament meeting, our most sacred meeting.
But it's not there. It was left out completely.
Maybe some PR people thought it was inappropriate because of the "even in sacrament meeting" comment (may sound patronizing to some) or the fact that Elder Cook didn't get that right (historically speaking). LDS sisters did not (from early history) prayed or gave talks in sacrament meetings.
