I am usually not into motion comics very much, but this one is extremely well done.
from what clips I have seen the animation has a strange 3d feeling to it and the voice work is pretty good too. I still would prefer seeing a fully animated version, but this is a lot better then some other comics that are put in motion for sure.

Is that Storm in the background to the right featured as a blond? Wasn't she with like white hair and dark skin in the original comics?

No you have her mixed up ,its the white queen Emma Frost in the background. Storm isn't in this movie at all.
