I do respect the game tenaheff, I really do. But I still think it is just a game, not a sport. Playing dodgeball requires physical activity, probably more so than golf, but is it considered a sport? Golf to me was a game that was invented to pass the time and socialize, which is fine with me. Hunting as well requires skill, yes, and physical activity, yes, but is it a sport? I may be wrong, and many people may not agree with me, but that's how I feel about it.
I will be playing golf on Monday in a charity tournament. I am not that good, but if you pay you get to play. The company I used to work for is paying for me to golf with a group from their company. It is always a lot of fun. We know we won't win, but we will have fun playing. And, it is definately a sport.
Wow, it is great your company pays you for having fun . For what kind of charity institution are you playing for?. Here in Trinidad to play golg is very expensive, I have no clue how to play it but I think one day when I become rich (notice: when no if) I may decide to play and learn.
Well, it is one of their clients that is holding the event so it is good for business. The charity event is done by an organization that offers free legal services to people who can't afford a lawyer on their own. It is expensive to play here too. I play at public courses which is much less money. Also I mostly play par 3 which is a smaller course and so it too is less money.
I've played a few computer versions of golf but I never liked them, its way too boring there just isn't enough action to it.
