More Mormon women in the Mormon Church than men. Is it because Mormon men are leaving the faith behind?

Mormon Gender Issues

Gender gap widening among Utah Mormons, but why?

Sociologists Rick Phillips, of the University of North Florida, and Ryan Cragun, of the University of Tampa, suggest it could be because Mormon men in the Beehive State are abandoning their faith at a greater rate than women. But other scholars see an array of possible reasons, including the view that more women than men join the Utah-based Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ref. Source 8

There was an alternative answer given that it might be more women joining the church and outnumbering the men. Most religious groups face the same challenge so its not unique to us.

I have always observed that women in general tend to be more sensitive and spiritual, and tend to remain active more then men, as well more seem to join the church.

I know that in this area, females tend to join the church almost 2 to 1.

I really would like to know why in the church we say things like this (not attacking you David eh) but I always hear this and I am not sure why we propagate this thought process you know what am I saying? Where it comes from? And where is the proof?

I have heard it said in the church myself, not so much now, but more so decades ago. Though I didn't say it based on that, but from my own observation and feelings, and from the Spirit.

Some reference, I am hypersensitive Empath, others feelings are felt by me, like they are my own. I also have the gift of discernment, and a IQ rating in the area of abstract thinking, as 180 plus. Not bragging, but simply trying to verify why I see what I do. I see far more then I care too and for more then I can understand all at once.

I guess at the same time, I feel at loss to put into words, what I feel and understand, but I try too. I find that many things are only seen and recognized by those of like light. I recognize that probably just as many below me understand less then I do, just like just as many more then this know and understand more then I. Learning is a process on a path, and when I don't understand something, it does not push me out of shape, I just stick it to the side and in time it comes to me.

I hope that did not come out badly.

Aside from all of my thoughts, I understand that female, women, are more sensitive, they need it to be mothers, but also this comes about, in joint creators with God in bring child into mortal existence.

I don't believe for a minute that women are necessarily more spiritual than men. The spirituality of men and women is merely different. Once a man hears and believes that women are more spiritual, he will no longer have incentive to lead in the home (as the doctrine says he should) or pursue spiritual paths.

Perhaps this erroneous notion is part of what's affecting the conversion/belief rates.

Being more sensitive to the Spirit, does not mean they are more Spiritual, it just means that more tend to be Spiritual, I guess I was not very clear in what I was trying t get across, but that is the discovery process of communication.

More women tend to be Spiritual, but they are not more spiritual then men or vise versa, does that sound better. Intelligence in many ways, is learning how to say things so others understand you, especially one who is high IQ ed, ADD, dyslexic and etc. I always enjoy the discovery and process, more then the end result.

Man or woman, needs to listen more then they speak, just like they need to listen more to the spirit.

Comments: What Mormons teach about a person born with a male organ but looks like a woman even born with woman's breasts. This is a rare thing but it happens. The person cannot meet other women because they look like woman already.
