This building will probably be gigantic! I wonder how much will be the total cost for a project of this magnitude?
QUOTE PROVO -- A new meetinghouse planned for Provo will house 48 wards and four stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The typical meetinghouse in Utah generally houses from one to three wards.
The new structure is planned for the corner of 900 East and 300 North in Provo. It is described as a dual-purpose "facility" that includes a site to hold stake conference meetings, and a four-pod configuration to house leadership and clerk offices and interview rooms for four stakes and 48 wards of BYU student and young single adult LDS members.
Terry Cano of the LDS Church's Meetinghouse Facilities Department told the Deseret News, "It's the very first one of its kind. We don't know if it will ever be built again." Source 8
