Mother-In-Law Taking The Kids

Comments: My mother-in-law is as good as they get but sometimes she tells my kids about places she wants to take them without asking me first and then the kids come rushing to tell me about it because its usually somewhere fun, but I want to feel I'm the one planning where my kids go and not her. Am I being too over protecting or over reacting?

Cilla, I don't think you are over reacting. Grandparents need to know what you expect from them so I would suggest a long conversation with your mother in law (prior conversation with your husband) and come up with some "rules" that you would like everyone to follow.
