Comments: Why do Mormons not know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon or at least so he said by means of a hat he placed his face into? This was common magic in those days, so were divining rods to find gold, something Joseph Smith also did. I've asked Mormons about this and they don't seem to even know Joseph Smith used those. Its not taught in your seminaries or Mormons just don't know what they are following?

Those who studied a little bit Church history (from other sources who aren't necessarily LDS) will know this. Unfortunately, most people will brush it off as "anti-mormon" things when in fact is quite accurate. I don't see the big about it you know what am I saying?
