Comments: Is it just me or is Dungeons & Dragons repetitive after awhile of playing? you create a character, look around for work, go kill whatever without getting your character killed in the process and then get heaps of gold or a magical item that everyone wished they had. After that is done you break and repeat the process. See what I'm saying?

It can be depending on who is running the game. For me I don't join a game unless its being taken seriously. I've been on sites where the RP was being run like it was a circus and I left real fast!

It is really the players and the game master that can make or break the game. If you have a good group of players then it is never a circle. It can be a ongoing game that lets the group work towards a goal that they seem to keep uncovering.
