8-10 people is a lot for a board game. You may want to try and find a board game where you can team up with another, this way you reduce the players to 4-5.

That's a hard one because you limited it to board games, I think there are some card games that could probably do. I don't know if you'll count this one but you could try something like Pictionary and then team up couples or something like that.

Sounds like maybe strategy games or maybe some of those so-called "German Games" might play that many. Axis and Allies plays 5. Risk plays 6 I think. That sounds more like a party game, like the How to Host a Murder or something along those lines, or even a Win, Lose or Draw or Pictionary type activity.

What about that game called "Clue", never got into it but perhaps that might do and as Play suggested you could put everyone as couples so they play as one player that makes 8-10 people count as 4-5 players in a game. Monopoly also comes to mind.
