Comments: I know that atheists say there isn't a god but what about ghosts? Are there some atheists who still believe in the paranormal even though they say there isn't a god?

This is a very good question. If they don't believe that there is a spiritual plane, and all that exists is just what we can see and understand, then yes, I suppose a true Atheist would struggle to believe in Ghosts. The only ones to answer this question is the non-believers themselves.

If there was an atheist that believed in ghosts then maybe he is not a true atheist but more of an agnostic.

Mabe a particular kind of Atheist could believe in Spirits and the paranormal but refuse to believe in an intelligent super being or all powerful God. They would see the Spirit world as natural, uncontrolled by any Deity.
