Comments: Sometimes I feel so depressed because my six year old autistic child will not even look at me. She doesn't interact with anyone except maybe objects you put in front of her. I know its not her fault but I feel so rejected.

Comments: as a parent of a child with autism, it can be very heart breaking when your child is unable to communicate with you, but the simple enjoyment of having your baby looking at you in the face and reading her eyes and having them do the same.
when offering baby something like a favourite toy or a snack to eat, offer it slowly but bring it up to eye level and give immediately when he looks, be patient and keep on doing it for a while, but when you do it let your face have the warm friendly look to engage with the child.
