II Scenario Brainstorm

My character is Orin, a flyer.

Orin's Journal:
Day 1:
Set Adrift-
I was on what should have been an easy job. I was one year out of the academy when I lucked into an apparently easy job. I was hired to fly as an escort for a small corporation looking to impress a client. One of the regular flyers took ill and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, or so I thought. In reality, the "corporation" (I later found out that the entire business was phony) was transporting illegal weapons. I stumbled across the weapons and was quickly ejected from the ship. Luckily, someone took pity upon me, because I heard a whistle and looked up to find my backpack falling out of the sky as the ship took off. After alerting the authorities, and spending several hours answering questions I was free to go. Unfortunately with no transportation, and very little money, I am stuck here for the time being. So now I have set three goals for myself:

1. Find a place to stay.

2. Find paying work.

3. Find a way home.

Orin, do you come to this Lounge often or are you just wallowing in your desolation? I see you have admirable qualities that may be a little tall in the story telling area... I do not know if I should tell, but I do have a way for you to gain your footing once again if you are interested?

Hmmm... yet, I find myself skeptical, you seem to be one of those 'do-gooders'?

You say that as if it is a disease. There is nothing wrong with trying to do what's right, is there? Well, there is nothing wrong with it as long as you aren't on the wrong side. There is no need to debate right and wrong here; you mentioned an opportunity to make some money...

See there is a competition I have heard about, something about a 'Hunt'. The winner gets enough money to get their own ATV. If you are game then we can check it out for further details.

By the way, *extends hand* I am 'HeavyMetal', they call me that because I seem to not even let the strongest elements stop me. *wink*
