I don't really have a weight issue but I know the answer isn't fad diets. I think the best way is just a slow weight loss program that includes some restriction and moderate exercise. I know its not what overweight individuals like to hear but its the best way to keep the fat off without putting it back on right after a crash diet.

Guys, to lose weight without having to make much effort you should just relocate to Asia. After the first couple of months, you would most probably give up any fried food and content yourselves on a diet of plain rice with steamed vegetables. I lost 10 kg in less than one year and, were not for the beers, I would probably look like a skinny teenager.

A more viable solution is drinking a lot of water during the day (reduces the appetite) and never have dinner after seven in the evening. Pasta is not a problem (what makes fat is not the pasta but the sauce, so avoid oily or rich sauces). Bread should be reduced and acidic fruits (like orange) and vegetables increased. Meat is advisable not more than twice a week: a hamburger or a steak without any sauce, a little bit of salt must be enough. Finally, the biggest secret is moderation. We can eat every thing, but not everyday and not in huge quantity. And move. Planning to lose weight taking pills while sitting in front of the tv is naive. Walk instead of driving, clean your house by yourself, never have somebody else do what you can do alone. It works. No permanent result can be obtained without patience and dedication. The faster you lose weight, the faster you will gain it again.

Yeah I agree with that I use the simple math method myself. Calories coming in is less than calories going out = weight loss. Calories coming in are more than calories going out = weight gain. Simple math. *smile*

I know that I do drink a lot of water during the day. I tend to drink 2-3 liters in a eight hour period and then another liter when I am home. I do know that I am well hydrated.
