9th Place for 'Ah Want Ah Indian Man'

I do not like soca music at all, especially the 'quality' of the music in these years, it is so degrading, especially of the woman. The Chutney music competition gave the 'I Want Ah Indian Man' music 9th place and I am glad! Not that I care really, but it is good to see that the judges saw nothing enlightening about it!

What do you think about the level of local music these days?


UPDATE: I just hear how Belfon (spelling?) and Desdra (spelling?) had a physical fight because Desdra sang first on a stage? Oh please, isn't this proof how low classed these people are, they are influenced by their low class music too.

I don't like Soca or Calypso in general but this song in particular is annoyning....plus, you know 'I want ah indian man' what is that supposed to mean?

Maybe next year they will come out with something worst like:

'I want a Syrian Man'... or

a man singing... 'I want an Indian Man'

As for what it means... if you look at the gyrations in their performance you will know what they are getting at. How can these people walk the streets after showing such filth? You truly have to reach a stage of no shame to such things in my opinion.
