Comments: It seems that the Americas and Europe have over the course of many years contributed so much to all these countries in the third world sector and yet now that we have allowed all these peoples immigrating to our countries, that is North America and Europe they have brought all the frustrations and hostilities and their way of life and are continuing these negative ways in Europe and North America. I also am an immigrant as is my husband. Are these people not looking for a better way of life then what they escaped from and are now doing or creating the same or similar way of life. They have introduced us to so much hostility and violence.

Children Of Illegal Immigrants
More than 5,100 children are in the foster care system because their parents have been detained or deported, according to a recent report from the Applied Research Center, a New York based racial justice think tank. Children like Lugo represent 1.25 percent of the total children in foster care - a program that costs state and national governments some $29 billion annually. As the country ramps up immigration enforcement, more families are getting caught up. Ref. Source 4

Comments: It's difficult for me to get a long with immigrants especially the ones from Asian countries and the Middle East. The culture is just so different and when I try to share something American they give me a courtesy grin but you can see they have no clue. How can employees build relationships working with people like that?
White House: No part in detainee release
ICE estimates that it takes about $165 per day to house illegal immigrants awaiting deportation. Some immigrants are held because they cannot afford to make bail, others because they have been deemed high-risk. Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano said the looming budget cuts threatened her agency's ability to maintain the 34,000 detention beds they are required to have by Congress.

Americans overwhelmingly favor a bill that would give most undocumented immigrants a pathway towards citizenship, according to a new national poll.
The CNN/ORC International survey also indicates that a majority of the public says that the government's main focus should be on legalizing the status of the undocumented rather than on deporting them and beefing up border security.
The poll was released Thursday, the same day that House Speaker John Boehner signaled any action on immigration is unlikely this year because House Republicans don't trust President Barack Obama on the issue. Ref. CNN
