It's the time for the FA Cup final today.
Manchester City are the favorites ahead of the clash with Stoke City.
The Manchester team are the wealthiest team in the world, their Oil Baron owners can spend more on a player than the lowly Stoke side is worth all together.
Stoke are quickly becoming a respected side in the Premiership, no longer always the underdog. Their owner may only be a pie seller, but come on the Potters!
We are all looking forward to this, Unfortunately I'm stuck in work all day but to have some fun we have done a work based sweepstake on what minute the first goal will be scored to try and brighten up the day. In all fairness my guys have worked their backsides off.
I would like Man City to take it to simply show that money does make the football world go around and thats why United have always done so well because they were always the super power in terms of money before things got silly.
Well the final score was 1 - 0 to Man City who pick up their first piece of silver ware since becoming incredibly rich. They have also gained entry into the champions league so with their money to buy, money to offer good wages and now prospects for being champions of the world I can see them bring in some big names into the club.
I agree Harkon, Fergie is incredible and has used the money well over the last couple of decades and achieved some incredible things. I'm still waiting for him to retire to see how united fare after that. I think he will be there until he dies though.
Who do you tip to replace him? The dream boy would be Mark Hughes, Roy Keane hasn't got the experience. But the good money is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he's been in the back room at Old Trafford since he retired. Apparently he's a good coach, but is he a bit quiet?
Hmm its a good question. If it was Solskjaer he would be quiet all game until the last 10mins where he would be everywhere. Similar to when he played. Always the super sub.
I cant imagine they would bring in Keane in it would be a kick in the face for Fergie after their little blow up all them years back. I can see Giggs packing it in soon and starting coaching but for Manager.. hmm what about Jose Mourinho that would be a great spin.
