It depends on the game of each. I don't play video games much anymore. I was good at some wrestling games like WWF No Mercy, but for board games I liked Trivial Pursuit, Password, HeroQuest, etc.

It really is about what you're most like... Loner or social. People who like to socialize more see board games as welcome relief. A loner will mostly be into the game and doesn't care who is around.
