Comments: How about being too old to get a mortgage? That is what I was told even though I have a good job with benefits. I am destined to rent forever, is it even legal?

Hoiw old are we talking about? Old enough to retire, old enough for the grave or barely passing mid life crisis? Plus what state are you in? Each state has laws that probably states if there is any business allowed because of the age of the mortgage applicant

Not sure but I suppose banks have the right to decide who qualifies for a mortgage and who doesn't and sometimes age may be a factor.
