The final day of the English Premier Soccer League was more of a race not to be relegated than sprint for the top. Manchester United became league Champions for the 19th time, and will play in Europe next year along with Manchester City and Chelsea who were joint second, followed by Arsenal.
Wolverhampton and Wigan made a last grasp to stay in the Premiership, as Birmingham and Blackpool made a drop alongside a disappointed West Ham.
The best game of the day was by brave Blackpool who were unlucky enough to draw the League Champions. They lost 4 - 2 in an attacking game that was an example of their gritty struggle.
