Cass Sunstein
The most dangerous Czar
Unfortunately for Van Jones, there is one less Czar to deal with. Unfortunately for the rest of us there are still over 30 Czars left to worry about. The one Glenn feels is most dangerous is Cass Sunstein -- who isn't really a Czar, he actually has to pass Senate confirmation. Glenn encourages you to flood the switchboards (202-224-3121) and tell Washington to say 'no' to Sunstein. That is, unless, you want the 'regulatory Czar' to have beliefs such as humans hurting animals is the same as slavery or "mass extermination of human beings" or "A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government." Enjoy Glenn, Rush and other conservative voices now, because if guys like Sunstein have their way talk radio will be under full-fledged attack. Ref. Source 2
Know your Czars! - Cass Sunstein
Sunstein -- the guy who wants Fluffy the cat to be able to sue you, has reportedly drafted a 'First Amendment' New Deal. Yup, your brand new regulatory czar wants to regulate those airwaves. Hope you like the soothing (boring, liberal) hosts from NPR because if this guy has his way media will turn into NPR x 100. Glenn helps you to get to know one of Obama's close radical friends and your new regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein in the latest Beck Talks Ref. Source 7
Newly-Confirmed Obama Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein Pro-Abortion, Pro-Cloning
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The Senate recently approved Cass Sunstein as President Obama's new regulatory czar and, like other members of the administration, more information is coming out about his anti-life views after the fact. Sunstein was confirmed by the Senate last week as administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Now, reports indicate Sunstein holds pro-abortion and pro-human cloning views that are upsetting for the majority of Americans who are pro-life. In a 2003 review of the book "Our Posthuman Future" by Francis Fukuyama, Sunstein confirmed he has little regard for developing human life in the womb. He said there need not be any regard for unborn children in their earliest days because human embryos are "only a handful of cells." "If scientists will be using and cloning embryos only at a very early stage when they are just a handful of cells (say, before they are four days old), there is no good reason for a ban (on cloning)," he wrote, according to a WorldNetDaily report. "It is silly to think that 'potential' is enough for moral concern. Sperm cells have 'potential' and (not to put too fine a point on it) most people are not especially solicitous about them," he continued. Ref. Source 5
Cass Sunstein: Conservatives think Constitution means what it originally meant
Cass Sunstein (the guy who Glenn has called the most dangerous man in America because of his regulatory powers) summed up the main issue conservatives have with progressives. Glenn plays the recently unearthed clip of Sunstein saying, "Some conservative legal thinkers like Justice Scalia and Justice Thomas think that the Constitution means what it originally meant." Glenn has more on Sunstein's comments and the battle with progressives today. Ref. Source 6
Chaffetz vs. Sunstein
Cass Sunstein seems like a harmless enough geek, but he's one of the most dangerous men in America. Why? Because his fingerprints are on almost everything in our society today - through regulation and things like 'choice structure' he believes he can improve society by eliminating 'bad' choices (I.e. Fast food, etc). According to a report, President Obama said he's working 'under the radar' on gun control - Congressman Jason Chaffetz confronted the only man who could pull that off: Cass Sunstein. Listen to the confrontation and get Glenn's reaction on where this administration is heading re: gun control Ref. Source 8
