Comments: I feel like crying and I'm a grown man. What do you do when all the genealogical work you have been doing and keeping on your harddrive just vanishes because of a corrupt disk? I was stupid enough to not have a backup.

Depends on how bad off your HD is you can still recover information from it. Your database or your files might be still in a good area of the drive go to a pro and he can recover them for you and next time make loads of backups!
