Unpatched Mac flaws may put users at risk

So it would seem Microsoft is not the only company with this problem as it would be. I guess with an ever growing fondness of Mac users a publicly announced flaw is sure to put a rather large bump in any operation.

*FireFox for OSX was also mentioned in the article so if you are running it you may want to make sure you have the proper patches for this.

I am not a Mac user or a Mac fan, but I know they have had very few problems, if any at all. I suspect this will not rattle the strong fan-base of Mac users, seeing how many problems us Windows users have to face daily.

I am not too concerned about it. I trust Apple much more than I trust Microsoft to fix any problems.

As it is, I have far fewer problems with my computer at home (an iBook, running OS X 10.3.9) than I have with any windows computer, ever. I started with Windows 2.0, by the way, and have used every version since then.

I have had very few crashes, and can't remember a single one that caused me to shut down the computer, only force a program to shut down.

So, the flaws may be there, but they will be taken care of, quickly.

I agree with Nighthawk, I would not be to worried about it. Mac users have enjoyed a stability that Windows users never have, so this may rattle their cages just a bit. But I don't think they will worry too much, and Mac will have a patch out sooner that Microsoft does, so the problem won't mushroom.
