Comments: My son is four and has mild autism. he needs to visit the dentist for a tooth he may have cracked when he fell playing. he doesn't like anyone touching him and I don't know what is going to happen when I take him to the dentist next week, any tips appreciated please!

Hi Plme, you can try to create a social story. Just draw in a booklet or single paper sheets what the experience will be like in pictures. You can then form like a little book and share it with your son so he knows what to expect. You can do this with any new experience for a child with autism.
