Most Influential Singer/actor?

Okay so after watching the eminem special i was thinking this could be good. Who do you think was the most influential singer or actor? On the media.. fans, whatever!

Personally I think that Eminem even though his music says it bluntly, he says it how it is and i think thats why people are so upset over his music because its the truth.

But still he's not so high into himself if you really listen to his music, and he really doesnt take the credit all for himself as he showed at the last awards where he won best rapper of the year,

Personally I think that Eminem

His influence is negative despite it being colored up by lyrics and blended beats the words do not promote anything postive. The look is one of 'do what you want', 'I do not care' and 'I am a rebel'. So if you are saying he is the most influential negatively then I would have to agree!

xtrasweetgirl is right bow.gif Eminem is THE most influential singer in the world today, and he's certainly influenced the Car Key Boi

but like JB says, he can be a negative influence. And in my case, he's turned me into a loozer that spends all day posting about him on message boards

usually, i'am shy and introverted, but Eminem has enticed the worst aspects of my personality to surface. First, i began listening to his songs at home, then i would post all day on message boards, chatting to other fans about the "blunt truth" of his music. I would listen to Eminem at the office while i was trading the stock markets, i would listen to him in the Benz on the drive home, listen to some more when i reached there, and start posting about him until 4am, have a few hours sleep, go to work, listen to more of his stuff, come home, listen to some more and begin posting about him again, and so on and so forth. A vicious and destructive cycle that i couldn't stop

everyone seems to be a Eminem fan these days, so i guess i became a fan too so that i would fit in. I wanted to be accepted and i thought Eminem was the answer. I have all of his top selling albums, DVDs, videos, blah, all of them spewing forth the same sexist, homophobic and bigotry crap. None of this was me, but i found it and it has become me. Perhaps i was weak, but it was Eminem and the fans who i would chat with on numerous message boards, that turned me into a furious3.gif loozer. Eminem's influence on me became so great, that i was playing his songs practically 24/7. I was becoming so destructive, that i started playing his stuff during times with Mrs Key Boi. Soon after this, she divorced me and took me to court, and sued me for everything i had

i am drunk, tired, bitter and intolerant. I have fallen so far and i'm about to hit skid row. Because of Eminem and his devoted followers, i lost my wife, i lost my real estate in Pasadena, the Bay Area, Florida, London, Trinidad and Venezuala, i lost my rolling stock of fine automobiles, the offshore bank accounts, the stocks portfolio, and now i'm holed up in a dank basement apartment with little other than a laptop and a toilet, posting, as usual, about Eminem

i have a $250k debt, no assets, no job, a bankrupt company, no source of income, sixty days of cash, and sixty days until i get evicted. And i have only ONE thing left to keep me sane...

and that's posting here whilst listening to furious3.gif Eminem!!!!!!!!!!!

- Car Key Boi,
Pasadena's finest, born with madd loot, now a bum, all because of Eminem, Do Never Test

CarKeyBoi that is a sad story, but I am glad you posted it here so some of the users who listen to that filth will understand the impact it can be having on them.

Offtopic but,
However, I would like to say that it sounds like your problem is more deep rooted than the music of one man, have you tried counseling? Do not answer that here as that is not what this thread is about, just a thought.

JB, yuo truly are a saint smile.gif

yes, it's a sad story, but fortunately, for me that is, it's not true - i was just kidding biggrin.gif

but for millions of skool kids the world over, who are being influenced by Mr Matthers and his glorification of drug use, drive by revenge killings, treating wimmin like dirt, blah blah blah, for some of them, i accept not all, but for a percentage of those kiddies, it's no joke...

btw, it's just occured to me who has been, without question, THE most influential actor ever

- Car Key Boi,
still madd, still with madd paper, still married to hott Trini gurl, Do Never Test

I do not see the humor in it since it only seeks to weaken the lament of the negativity of Eminem's music. If you are going to post, please do so constructively.
