Comments: How did Hitler trick the Germans into thinking he would be the future savior of Germany? How many supporters did he have before the war and during it?

Some of it was based on developing a hate for immigrants and Jews in the country. Most people concentrate on the Jews as being the victims but there were lots others, Gypsies, Blacks, the Polish and so others. He also did not genuinely come to power but instead made one great assassination plot on other politicians and with the military on his side he came to power. It was just one big coup.
