Certain military training provides this to some extent. I never received such training, but the Air Force for example has a survival training course for pilots and also one for those who will be called upon to rescue downed pilots, that focusses heavily on survival.

The answer is yes,in a sense of the word. Noone can do what Hollywood 'deems' possible. However, back in vietnam (when this type of warrior was implanted) we had soldiers ine the Army and the Corps. that were called 'LURPS' that stands for long range patrols ,these one man armies would ride up river under cover of darkness and sneak into enemy encampments most often out numbered 20 to 1.
And most often they would take out entire platoons of men agaist all odds.
This was of course 30 years ago,so I'm sure our training in that field has progessed remarkably,so who really knows what one man can do.
You need to keep in mind that these men were natural born killers who enjoy the art of the kill so much they will take trophies of their victums(ears,noses,etc.....)and so forth.
America would never admit to these type of killers in their ranks, most of them were taken out of jail and given freedom if they could complete so many missions.
My father in law was a PT boat gunner in nam,and his job was to 'escort' these men (with their ears and noses tied around their necks) up river in the night, drop them off, then come back in a week to pick them up(some even had human heads with them) .
My goodness. Is that legal? I mean letting a man out of prison if he killed the enemy? Also, why would the military allow such men to take home a head or ears, etc. Wouldn't such men, that like to kill so much, be a threat to their own platoon?

I haven't heard the stories posted here about taking home body parts, but it is a well known fact that in Viet Nam, many were killed by their own platoon members. If your Leutenant was thought to be a danger to you because he didn't know what he was doing, he could easiy end up dead. Often referred to as being "fragged."
Viet Nam was a brutal war, fought in an unconventional manner in which even children might be a deadly enemy to you. So, people exposed to this type of existance, often themselves became brutally inhumane.

So we are saying that the concept of 'Rambo' is a reality. However I would like to think that the 'First Blood' character fit more of the above rather than the Rambo films that followed since started to be a bit much. The next thing...
Doesn't the US offer courses from former SEALS, etc for tatics, weapons use, etc? Have you been to any of them? Are they the same as the military?

The SEALS are for hollywood first of all, they do exist, however we have much more equipped special forces than them.
To answer the new question of courses: Yes I'm sure if you look hard enough you will find it,However any tactics YOU are likely to come across are outdated, and no longer useful to the military.Thats how we keep an edge.
I was asked to try out for Marine Force RECON,which by comparison has the same function as the SEALs(minus the terrorist training, and dealings with the C.I.A).I turned it down, because I did'nt think I could perform some of the things required. They hold tryouts for this all the time, the success/pass rate is somewhere around 10%. Just for preliminaries, the drop out rate for each phase of training is 90%,so after all phases of training are completed there is something like a 1% pass factor here. The best of the best of the best.
Example:Day 1 Don full battle gear with rifle and start on a 15 mile run, when that is completed, you must swim(with gear) for a time(not sure how long),when this is over it is night, then it really gets going, they throw all they can at you,for 3 straight days NO SLEEP. that is all just so they can select who they feel will make it to actual training, needless to say the full battle gear run was too much for me.Not to mention the rest of qualifing.
