Massachusetts Tornadoes

At least two tornadoes hit Springfield, Mass., leaving "many injuries" and extensive damage, Gov. Deval Patrick says.

Patrick has declared a state of emergency for Massachusetts and called up 1,000 National Guard members due to the severe storms in the central and western portions of the state. Ref. CNN

I have a good friend in Springfield, I have been trying to get in touch with her all afternoon and I wasn't able to! I'm hoping I can do that as soon as possible because with all this weather problems I'm getting concerned.
