Comments: I'm in love with a girl that I've been friends with practically my whole life. We are best friends you could say as we help each other with many things. Of late I've been looking at her in a more romantic way but I don't know if there will be a conflict of interest because she has talked about the kind of guys she likes and I definitely do not fit the build. Do you think I should look for someone else and save myself loads of trouble or maybe pursue this?

That's a hard one because I'm sure if she's not interested in you romantically, at least you would want her to continue being your friend. I don't know. I would say follow what your heart dictates and see if she's interested in you in that way as well.
