Just a couple of things:

1. We experienced some downtime today (80 minutes around 2pm GMT / 10am EST) due to some errors on the part of our main host, all seems to be resolved now.

2. Occasionally you will see something new popup here and there on your screen. That is the forum generating the latest content for you. Do not be alarmed... We are testing.

Search Help Enhanced

Sometime ago we removed the redirect screen to make things load faster. This has helped navigation greatly, however when someone searches for keywords that takes time and with no redirect screen they are left with a blank screen. Therefore the person searching is left to wonder what is happening while the results are assembled (sometimes this might take 30 seconds or more). We have fixed that so a redirect page is show on searches only. This page also informs you that your search may take some time and to wait patiently.

Inactive accounts:

* We will be clearing out the database soon. If you will like to save your account make sure to keep your account active by logging in and making a post or it may be deleted by the system.

Google Search Option Added

To help everyone find what they are looking for we have added a Google search option to both the top Search field and the results page. This means in addition to Searching with options of "Deep" or "Loose" you will also see: "Google". If you select Google as your search option you will get a confirmation page with what you wanted to search... Then click the button to confirm.

Not Active Member Removal

Approximately, 250+ Members were removed from the system for not keeping up their account. It is strongly suggested that if you do not want to lose your Account here that you keep it active.

Old Membership Cleared

* About 250 members who were not contributing were deleted. You got this Email so it means your account wasn't one of them, but do keep your account active to save it from the automated process.

* Looking for dedicated posters who really love to write. There are certain areas of the community that need more 'expert' input. If you want to earn some extra cash on the side at the same time please contact us.

Many Minor Updates

* Things seemed to be lagging around here (slow loading) so we optimized both the DB, hopefully this will mean speed improvements.

* The "Indian" Skin has been updated so that Posts look similar to other Themes. There were some slight color modifications as well.

* The Caribbean section will now use the Red Skin as its default so it can be recognized as a specific section and not confused with general world topics.
