Melinda Weekes, the woman who was set on fire last Friday, died yesterday.
The man who threw paint thinner on Weekes, and struck the match, was still on the run last night.
Doctors had little hope that the 32-year-old mother of two would survive.
She was burned over 90 per cent of her body before a good samaritan smothered the flames on the street outside her home at New City, Marabella.

When I read that the kids of this poor woman were running after her mom who was covered in flames I just cried. I really did. My heart just sank just imagining what these kids witnessed. I hope they find the man who did this so he can rot in jail forever...
