BABY Cline Pamponette, who was wounded during a shootout in Arouca last Wednesday night was up to late yesterday warded in stable condition at the Paediatric Hospital located at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) in Mount Hope.
Police said the 18-month-old girl was in the arms of her mother Charlene Pamponette, when the incident occurred.
It was reported that at about 9 pm Pamponette, while holding baby Cline, was talking with Boswell Clement, 35, in the yard of her home in Arouca when two men ran out from a nearby track and opened fire on Clement.

Aww poor baby! It seems to me there is more to this story than what we're told. Why they targeted the mother of this child? Why they shot her while she was holding the baby?
