Comments: Neil was a friend of my husband's and his death is a reminder that crime in Trinidad and Tobago has consumed us as a nation. Every day on the news we see another murder or kidnapping and it becomes just another statistic. When you know the person or see the almost irrevocable damage it leaves behind do you really realize the mess this country is in.
Neil was an innocent person focused on doing the job he was instructed to do. Never in a million years would he have ever imagined that as a result of trying to earn an honest day's pay he would leave behind his wife to re-build a solitary life and raise a young child who will only ever have vague memories of her father. This place is in a sad state of affairs.

Comments: I think it was more or less wrong place in the wrong time...but where is the right place? People these days getting killed outside their children's school and even in their own homes. This place is crazy.
Poor guy sorry to hear about it Amanda and I agree with you this place is getting really crazy, this man now leaves a wife and a lil kid behind and I'm pretty sure the perpetrators are free probably killing other people.

Comments: You know I try to put myself in his wife's [?] shoes and I don't know how I would go on with life. On top of that there is just no justice in this country. I don't think they have held anybody in this case as yet but you tell me somebody killed 2 people in broad day light and no one saw anything or know one knows anything?
