Negus Hughes and Dexter Mendoza
Minutes after Negus Hughes accepted a ride from a friend, gunmen opened fire on the car killing him and the driver, Dexter Mendoza, on Wednesday night.
Police arrived to find the car crashed against the wall of the Circular Court apartment complex, at Circular Road, San Fernando.
The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. Police believe the shooting was drug-related.

It is so sad to read these cases every day. Drugs and gangs are the main reason for our crime situation I wonder if we will ever recover from all of this. Things need to improved but within the walls of our own homes!
