Our pumps just hit 82 cents per liter first time in many many years. I think I am worried though as diesel is still 105. That means food and goods prices will not drop.
Our economy needs that price to drop.

I filled up yesterday for $2.459/gal. -- "only" $35 to fill up instead of $75. A definite improvement! But I see there is still a ways to go down. I would be delighted to see under $2! (I know, I'm dreaming, but a girl can hope, can't she?)

You might get your wish I seen the pump today at 78 per liter! Ben 6 year since we had that price. I heard it is expected to drop a bit more though I can not believe this can continue for long. The trip back up is going to hurt.

Yes it is nice that oil prices keep going down so as I drove to play with my car I was surprised to see that my gas has went up more than $.10 a gallon. Maybe tonight when I am at work it will go back down as the oil prices have dropped over $4 in the past two days.
I noticed tonight on the drive home that our prices have finally dropped below the $3 mark - $2.99. Not bad unless you consider that a year ago when oil was about this same price - $55barrel - we were paying $2.40 at the pumps. What is wrong with this picture?

Gas drops below $2 at some Utah stations
Dip due to recession, falling demand, growing oil inventories
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Utah on Wednesday was $2.31 a gallon, according to AAA. The all-time high for average gas prices in Utah was $4.22 on July 18.

It is just their way of padding their pockets. I was relieved to see that my home town lowered the gas prices last night back to the $1.799 that they were at two days ago. With oil going down again today you would think that would lower more. We are down around $7 since last week per barrel of oil. Last I looked we are pushing $55 a barrel with the news that US oil inventories are up 200,000 barrels.
I believe that the people of this great nation have found that they can control the price of oil if they cut back on their use of it. I know I am going to use less gasoline this year and in the next few months.
Price I filled up two days ago was $2.459/gal. Today is $2.319.
Yes, Klar, that's the business model - less demand, price goes down. It's not just "regular" consumers like ourselves who are cutting back, but many businesses are finding alternate ways of transportation and giving incentives to employees for ride-sharing, etc.
Let's hope it keeps on dropping
