I didn't realize there were two doors. Let's check out the other door then. And if you don't wan't to go through the one with the skull and cross bones we can just go down the holes if we don't find anything behind the other door. I just think it is possible they were trying to scare anyone who might come upon the place. However, it is true something strange is going on. The wind is really weird. So, let's check out the other door, then!

I say let Elda go. I believe GM is sending her away because she hasn't posted recently so I see no point in pursuing her, but if you think otherwise, let me know.

O.K. Sokei, so what do you want to do about it? Do we open one of the doors, go down the hole or back the way we came? Read my posts and FarSeer's posts and add your opinion.

I am going to post in the next two hours or so because otherwise we are all going to die. This new development with the bird concerns me greatly and we need to act quickly.

It isn't that I want to send her to her death, it is more that she hasn't posted in a while and the GM is aware of it. He is controlling her character at this point. If you had taken too much longer to post, he probably would do something similar to you. wink.gif If she comes back soon, it might not be too late. He hasn't said she died yet.

Dont go down the hole, the lower we go the stronger that gas is going to be. I say we take a door quickly.

Added:

I reread the gold mine posts and there is only one door that I see indicated in this room. It is the one with the skull and cross bones. So, do we try opening it or go down the holes?

It is possible the gas is from behind the door and that is why the skull and cross bones is on it.

I am inclined to go down the holes. If one of us gets to feeling worse or the bird dies, we can come back up quickly.

Let me know if you disagree. Otherwise, I will post this when I get home (around 8:00 EDST) unless FarSeer beats me to it.

I know FarSeer doesn't want open the door and I dont think we have time to dig it out. FarSeer said there was a second door, but I don't see it mentioned.

O.K. Now, what? I suggest that Ice come back up tell the group what she has seen. Everyone needs to be very quiet. Ice will go back down into the hole and try to peek into the next opening to see how many there are. I am not going to pick a fight if we are out numbered.

I think if we are outnumbered our options are open the door with the skull and cross bones or go back the way we came and see what else there is to explore and or finally return back to the village and give up the search for gold.

Lets continue, but send a theif down first to scout. They are more agile and quiet. then we should move in. I would love to start a fight, smile.gif but i dont think u all want to do that.

I read a thread, but can't find it now that actually "laughed" at RPGers who choose a fight rather than run. By the way, it was written by JB. So, you can be sure I don't plan to pick a fight. Especially when we have two warriors and a thief. There are four of them, plus another who hasn't returned.

We need to do something quickly. THe one who hasn't returned is likely to come back soon. We don't want to be caught. IF we don't post in a timely manner I am sure the GM will have this missing guy find us and alert his buddies. Then we are probably all dead.

Oviously the air is fine down there since the guys are down there.

We need to get out of here and quickly.
