Thats wonderful for Jb.
And these are trained year hacked miners, im sure they have strong lungs. PLust where else are we going to go. BUt whatever tenna, lets go back up and go through the door.
Hey, hey, hey, easy now. I am just saying that if the GM doesn't think it is wise to pick a fight, especially if you are outnumbered, then it probably isn't wise to do so. I can't control what everyone does, I am just saying I am not willing to pick a fight. If your character insists, there isn't much I can do but defend myself.
As far as going through the door. I am willing to do so, but do you think it is wise? If his buddy returns, he is sure to see that we have dug it out.
O.K. Now what? I am not interested in dying just to play the game. I would like to see if it is possible for any character to end one of these stories and still be living.
Here is what is posted about this exact situation in the thread on staying alive:

If you see the mouth of a mine filled with fallen rock then you know that the surrounding earth may be unstable, lingering in mines may get you trapped so be careful. |
I think our GM is tired of us being so cautious. (Cowardice, indeed!) But, hey, I'm no warrior Another big problem may be getting out of this place, if we ever do find the gold. None of us has quill, ink, or paper to mark down where we're going and where we've been...
Anyway...
I'll post that we turn around to look for another passageway.
Well i always get the impression from him that we should always be cautious and listen to over details. >.> Gah.
Lets Go and beat someone up!
I say we take the passage and be as quiet as the dead, then if we encounter any miner, so and apporach them and act as if they were friendly. Then if they want to be hostile, kill them, easy as pie.
O.K. I think we have no choice but to go down this passage, but we need to move very carefully and very slowly to be sure we don't do anything to cause a cave in. I am quite concerned that we are all going to be killed by the mine collapsing around us. Yet, I don't think we have any choice.
