[camp] Gold Mine - Page 10

I asked: Where exactly on the map of Medieval is the CAMP located? Do we have to pick a spot?

GM replied: Camp is wherever you are in the game that you choose to gather together and talk.

So, I take this to mean that wherever we happen to be whilst talking to each other, we're in "camp" and that means it's "private." I don't think anyone will be watching over our shoulders when we look at the map. Am I interpreting it correctly?

==================================================
Grumbling at the lightening of her purse by a thieving barkeep's prices, Althea elbows Horde. "Hey, ya big lout. Let's get rolling before the moss begins to grow under yer feet."

She stows in her back pack the ale skin Elda hands to her.

Glaring as she passes the clay-brained miscreants what chose to fling insults her way, Althea marks their faces for future reference -- being a thief can make for choice vengeance when least expected... Later, she promises them silently.

Althea heads out the door with Horde in tow.

Mine Gold camp

I don't think that is necessarily what it means. I think the point is, we don't have some permanent location in the village called "camp." I think when we want to be positive we aren't being watched we need to be sure of where we are in the village and make sure no one is around. I think GM is referring to "camp" as in the camp thread and not necessarily a camp like a sleeping place.

I think we tell Horde we need to go now. But, we better hurry and post.

Unless you don't agree, I think below summarizes it:

We leave the bar
Ice gives Sokei his skin of ale
Sokei gives Ice 5 gp
We go to the far side of the park, away from the Elder's residence to look at the map.

=================================

I suggest you use FarSeer's words as she wrote them. Then add, that Ice quickly follows. Then you can mention the transaction regarding the ale and finally that we are going to the park and be specific about where in the park to look at the map.

Everything looks good to me. There is one thing though... you guys aren't planning on leaving poor Elda all by herself in the tavern, are you? cry.gif I think we should put that Ice and Elda quickly follow Althea.

I agree. I just was waiting for you to say what you wanted Drizzy to do. Actually, truth be known, I forgot all about poor Elda. sad.gif
