Bernard Plucky Coltes

BERNARD "PLUCKY" COLTES, the stepfather of Daaniyall Coltes who was shot dead by police last month, was gunned down near his home at Smith Hill, Carenage on Friday night.

Police said that around 11 p.m. Coltes, 47, stepped out his house and walked over to the Paradise Bar along the Western Main Road to get some fried chicken and chips.

While waiting in the bar, two masked men brandishing guns walked in.

They opened fire, hitting Coltes seven times in the chest, head and back, killing him on the spot.
