Comments: I want to enter rehab but they tell me as part of the recovery I have to give up my friends who are addicted to drugs too. I understand the reason but when I recover I want to help them quit too not give them up.

You have to give them up because it's very easy to fall back. Remember that once you're addicted, you are always addicted and even though you may go without drugs for YEARS, you have to avoid the triggers at all costs.
