Aliron Introduction

I'm Aliron. It might not seem like it from the dry tone I'm about to use here--because I am a terrible textual conversationalist--but I am an aspiring writer. I've been wanting to try Dungeons and Dragons, but do not have any friends who share that interest enough to learn how to play. So I thought I'd try it through a forum, and this looks to be a good place to start. I understand the basic mechanics, have the rulebooks and might need some hand holding, but hopefully not too much.

I came here for the Dungeons & Dragons play by post, but it looks to be a much broader forum than I anticipated, so perhaps I can delve into my other interests here as well, such as graphic design, writing, and electronics.

I do not normally deal with new Members but you are becoming a sore thumb. I have two minds about letting you continue here. Reporting our Newsletter TWICE as spam causes us unnecessary trouble especially when you agreed to receive it as part of your Registration here. It is obvious from your actions that you care nothing about this site or what goes into making it possible. I have banned your current Email, disabled your ability to track Emails, and changed your Email address to not receive any notifications from here. This means you will have to manually check in for the games you play and will not receive any notifications. Do not attempt to change your Email or this time I personally will delete you and report you as well.
