The English Composition or ENC 1101 course covers several forms of writing. Students learn how to interpret and write various styles of writing. One of the writing styles is the short story. Not only will students learn how to interpret the short story, they might have the opportunity to write their very own. There are several elements to a short story. All are important, but the plot is the basis of the story, and it requires significant creative development.
