Comments: Does crazy art tell about the state of a person's mind or how inspired they are? I've seen some abstract art that looks like someone from an asylum painted it when they weren't on meds and it looks awful but the people around the art gallery all in awe over it. Then there are really true to life paintings where the artist picked up the most minute detail and no one takes it seriously, so weird.

The ones that like the 'crazy' abstracts might be telling you more about them than the artist that painted it but I know what you mean. I also appreciate visual detail but occasion I do like to see something different.
